On September 30, 2024, Chilean customers visited Haishan Copper Foundry. They visited the casting department, production department, technical department, laboratory, processing workshop, and quality inspection department. In the end, they were quite satisfied with our work and signed a contract for 2 aluminum bronze flange sleeves weighing 710 kg each.
On October 3, 2024, the customer's advance payment arrived. We followed the normal procedure, made plans to make molds, and studied the casting process. After discussion by the technical department, we determined to use centrifugal casting to complete this product, because aluminum bronze sand casting will produce casting defects such as pores, sand holes, and cracks, which will cause a lot of trouble for processing. And most importantly, the density cannot meet customer requirements. The density of the centrifugal product is better than that of the sand mold, and it is wear-resistant, durable, and pressure-resistant.
Large copper castings use different casting processes depending on the material. In order to avoid casting defects, brass and aluminum bronze materials basically use centrifugal casting technology. Tin bronze and high-lead bronze castings mostly use sand casting or metal mold casting technology. Haishan Machinery specializes in casting and processing copper sleeves, copper tiles, copper wire nuts, crusher copper sleeves, copper bushings, bearing sleeves and other copper castings.
